Dating as a Mommy???

What the heck is that anyway? Comes to mind when I think of dating as a single mommy. I've been reduced to texting/chatting on line just to have a date and it's never irl (I had to learn what irl is too). To coordinate an actual date is like trying to get President Obama and the Republican party to actually show up in the same room at the same time to talk about something they might actually agree on. LMAO! Like that's gonna happen!

Between my schedule, my sons schedule, the potential dates schedule and his children if he has them, finding a sitter the same day we finally can get together at the same time in the same town much less state, WOW! I think I'll stick to my toys!! I've forgotten what it's like to go out or be taken out and I haven't worn a dress in years. Literally YEARS! Sure I have some cute summer skirts but not the same as actually dressing up in a dress and trying to look like the person I was before I became "Mommy". Who is that woman anyway??? I wonder some days. Sigh! Someday. Maybe?
